Bobi candidly and humbly shares her wrestling match with God over going or staying; over trying to make things happen, or relinquishing them to the hands of a trustworthy but ''invisible'' Creator; over maintaining the just right to never trust again, or yielding her broken spirit to the belief that God really had answered her prayers.
Especially precious and poignant are the chapters by her husband Phil as he shares his darkness, his struggle, and eventually his entrance into the light, and the chapter by the children of families who have ''survived'' the crisis. These are insights many of us never hear or understand, but need.
